Mozingo Family Update

O.k. obviously from all the posts I did last night you can tell I am a little behind in my blogging. It just seems as though this past month has been so busy. So here is a quick family update:

Sean - Sean is still working for Morrow Meadows, and recently was given a new company vehicle (yeah). He has been working some crazy hours lately, for example 5:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and then 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. that same day. Currently, the big house project is constructing a rocket for my third grade class, I am sure there will be more stories on this to come. Let me just tell you this, for those of you that know my husband projects can become extremely complicated. I asked for a rocket outline I was thinking wood, my husband decided on steel and has been welding a rocket table for me. I wish I had pictures of this, maybe later.

Abby - Abby is doing great in preschool and is keeping her teacher quite busy. (we like to think this is because she is a leader)! In the fall Abby will switch from two days of school to three in order to help transition her into kindergarten. Her premiere is next Saturday as this is her very first dance recital. Abby had a recital in December, however we thought it might be distracting to the other dancers as well as the parents to have Abby there. It wasn't that she couldn't dance, it was that she was doing her own dance (see another example of leadership). Her favorite summertime hobby so far has been swimming in our above ground pool.

Monique - I am now officially a third grade teacher, my days of teaching a 4/5 combo class are over at least for this year. I am enjoying third grade, while also finding it quite challenging at times. This is a perfect distraction for me, so I am not constantly counting down the days of our adoption.

Mozingo Baby - Well we had a little excitement in this department over the past few weeks, but unfortunately no news. Sean and I looked into adopting this adorable baby boy, but when we started looking through his files we found serious medical issues, and worried it would be too hard to give him the care he deserved. Needless to say I became very attached to him through his pictures and file. I am praying everyday for him, and hope that he will find a family that is just perfect for him. So that puts us back in square one, doing the waiting thing again. I know that are little one is out there, and we just keep praying that we will meet them very soon.
