It has already been a week since we came home with our sweet Aubrey. It is absolutely amazing how perfect and wonderfully she fits into our family. There is no doubt in my mind that God chose her especially for us. She is attaching so naturally to Sean and I, sleeps through the night (thank God), and eats like a champ (now if we could only get Abby to do that).
We had a rough first few days with Abby, but that was expected. However, Abby has turned out to be a great helper and a super big sister. It is us that needs to remember to praise Abby and have patience with her as this is also a huge change for her.
It is funny to look back three years ago, at where Sean and I were and how lost we were both feeling. Not only were we lost but extremely angry. When you let God have control and just believe miracles really do come true. I praise God everyday for allowing us the miracle of two wonderful, sweet, precious, little girls.
This was by far the best Christmas although also the most exhausting. Aubrey basically slept through Christmas Eve and Christmas night, but who can complain about that. Our Santa trip was uneventful (this was a surprise as I was planning for the worst). Abby and Aubrey received so many wonderful gifts that I feel as though our house is stretched to the max with toys.
Upcoming events in the Mozingo household: baptism class, dance class for Abby (she now says she wants to do soccer), hopefully a family portrait, and lots of just hanging out together as a family of four.
Hopefully, this all made sense. I feel as though I jumped around a lot, but there is so much I wanted to say. We are just so happy and grateful for all of God's gifts!
